Notes from Port:
We departed Sag Harbor Village Marina after a four-night stay on this iconic Sag Harbor yacht charter in this classic East End harbor. The marina provided excellent dockage, and this Sag Harbor vacation offered charm, excellent dining, and boutique shopping. Daily coffee stops at Sagtown Coffee and Jack’s Coffee became part of our village rhythm. Dining highlights included Dopo La Spiaggia, Sag Harbor Tavern, and Le Bilboquet. The town also hosts the well-known Tracy Anderson Studio, where we enjoyed several inspiring classes. Sag Harbor remains a standout port on any East End itinerary.
Course:
We cleared Sag Harbor with flat water and calm winds. The sun was shining, visibility stretched to 14 miles, and conditions made for an easy departure. With smooth seas expected, MagicTime is bound for Nantucket Boat Basin. The route links Long Island’s East End directly with Nantucket, creating one of New England’s most iconic yacht passages.
Crew Notes:
The First Mate appreciated the glassy seas. Ivey enjoyed the calm harbor waters and quickly settled into her cruising spot on deck. Spirits remain high aboard as we begin this longer offshore run.
Remarks:
Our stay in Sag Harbor offered the perfect blend of marina comfort, culinary variety, and wellness opportunities. Now, as MagicTime heads east, we look forward to our next chapter in Nantucket with calm seas and clear skies ahead.
